ClexaCon 2019: Creator Lab

New for 2019, we welcome film, tv and web series creators to join us for a day of panels, workshops and networking on Thursday April 11.

Think you have the next, binge-worthy, queer web series concept but don’t know where to start? Looking to kickoff pre-production for another season and need some expert advice on growing an audience? Want to connect with and get inspired by other creators from our communities and our allies in the industry?

ClexaCon, in partnership with SAG-AFTRA, YouTube Space LA, DASH Productions and Tello Films is hosting a one-day event to inspire and empower the next generation of LGBTQ+ women, trans and non-binary creators.

The full lineup of activities and events is still in the process of being finalized, but will include the following:

  • Hands on style workshops taught by industry professionals focused in on the pre-production, production, post-production, and distribution phases of content creation
  • Speed Pitching Sessions where creators will get the chance to pitch their concepts to a series of industry members for feedback, exposure, and the potential for development opportunities
  • Happy Hour / Networking Mixer
